There is a clear need for training on using social media to good effect in the voluntary and community sector. Green Pepper’s programme of social media workshops have proved popular and the most recent event in Rugby, held in partnership with Warwickshire CAVA, saw an interested and engaged group of participants.
The workshops have all considered how to promote your organisation using social media; and have been aimed at anyone who uses social media for work but who has no marketing training. A key aspect is looking at how to make content more effective.
Comments from the Rugby workshop included, “Fab, concise, learnt so much.” “Very useful, interesting and engaging” and “I found it extremely useful, and picked up lots of tips.”
There are two more workshops scheduled (Swadlincote and Nottingham) with more planned for early 2018. Details can be found on Upcoming Events.
